With the audience settling down and putting on their 3D glasses to experience a revolutionary feel of music in the future as A Bitter Affection appeared onstage to a receptive crowd
Music was the law and aggression was the main trial of the day as the bands dusted off the feeling of lethargy and got on to business as usual with the likes of Assault making another appearance on the squared circle and unleashing a torrent of shrieks, riffs and beats to a ravenous crowd that have gathered at the Artshouse Chamber and if you expect Grindhouse II to be a brutal affair, it is anything but a tame affair with the returning Analdicktion ripping and raping holes, Cardiac Necropsy bringing the crowd to its knees with sweet suffocation delivered from their heart pounding music and No Rest For The Weary vindicating their name with every song dished out for the ravenous revellers.
Not to be outdone, alcohol sexpots Truth Be Known transformed the Chamber into another kind of monster altogether as the meaning ‘music for the people’ saw the band and the crowd being fused into a visual orgasm that definitely was the highlight for the night before the main act Truth Corroded carried on with the spirit of unity that has been witnessed in Grindhouse II. If the audience have never heard of the band, their setlist for that evening definitely would have garnered themselves a new legion of fans in Singapore and delivered the lights out to the Chamber as everyone who attended the gig got out with a smile etched at the corner of their lips
